Sabine — Hand-Tooled Cowhide Travel Bag

Price$407.00 AUD

Colour:Black & White

Sabine carries the wide, generous shape of a proper travel bag — a single hair-on cowhide body finished with a smooth leather base, its long, removable shoulder strap and twin hand straps built from leather bearing hand-carved detailing that continues down each side seam. Contrast stitching runs the join between hide and leather, and base feet lift the bag clear of the ground when it's set down at a gate or a doorway. A metal zip closure runs the full length of the top opening.

Cowhide is a natural material, and Sabine is cut and finished as one of a kind — the pattern across the hide is never repeated exactly, so the piece that arrives belongs to you alone, not to a production line.

Dimensions: 50 cm × 24 cm × 24 cm— Fits a weekend's essentials, a toiletry bag and a water bottle

The Bag

Built to carry it all

Every bag in the range is genuine leather first, chosen as much for how it carries as for how it looks. We'd rather stock fewer bags done properly than a wide range done indifferently.

Inside, a cotton-lined interior holds its shape trip after trip, with card slots and storage compartments built into the lining and a YKK zip closure keeping smaller essentials — passport, boarding pass, loose change — separate from the rest. The internal pockets are sized for exactly the kind of things that go missing at the bottom of a bag, built in rather than added as an afterthought. It's built for the trip that's a night or two, not a full relocation — a weekend away, a work trip that doesn't need a wheeled case, the bag carried on rather than checked. The long strap sits comfortably across the body when both hands are needed elsewhere, and the twin hand straps take over the moment they're not.

Aftercare

Keep it looking this good

Leather ages best with a little attention. Keep pieces away from direct heat and prolonged sun, wipe spills promptly with a dry cloth, and condition every few months with a leather-safe balm to stop it drying out. Store stuffed with tissue to hold its shape when not in use.

Leather that's built to age well

Every piece in the Cuerava edit is chosen for genuine leather and construction that holds up — not fast fashion, not disposable. We pick pieces we’d carry ourselves, then let the leather do the rest: it darkens, softens, and gets better with use.
