Kestrel — Fringed Hand-Tooled Cowhide Flap Bag
Kestrel is a compact cowhide flap bag, its flap genuine premium hair-on cowhide hand-tooled with intricate carving and finished with a run of buck-stitching along the edge. Leather fringes fall from the sides, and the body beneath is finished in plain leather.
Every Kestrel is cut and finished from a single hide, so the tooling plays against markings entirely its own — a feature of genuine cowhide, never a flaw, and the reason no two bags in this range are ever quite the same.

The Bag
Built to carry it all
Every bag in the range is genuine leather first, chosen as much for how it carries as for how it looks. We'd rather stock fewer bags done properly than a wide range done indifferently.
A single long, adjustable shoulder strap lets Kestrel move between a shoulder carry and a crossbody, while a zip pocket on the back panel and a further zip pocket inside keep essentials contained; the flap itself closes with a magnetic clasp. The fringe and the buck-stitching both lean into a western character the rest of the range only hints at, making Kestrel the more playful, high-spirited piece in the collection.
Aftercare
Keep it looking this good
Leather ages best with a little attention. Keep pieces away from direct heat and prolonged sun, wipe spills promptly with a dry cloth, and condition every few months with a leather-safe balm to stop it drying out. Store stuffed with tissue to hold its shape when not in use.
