Rosalind — Hairon Cowhide Runner
Rosalind is a table runner built entirely from genuine hair-on cowhide, pieced together in a patchwork of small hide squares — each one carrying its own natural colour and marking, arranged into a considered checkerboard rather than cut from a single continuous hide. A non-slip felt fabric backing keeps it steady once it's laid across a table.
Cowhide is a natural material, and every patch that makes up Rosalind is cut and finished as one of a kind — the pattern across each piece is never repeated exactly, so the runner that arrives belongs to you alone.

The Runner
Sets the table
A table runner here is genuine leather, sized to dress a table or console without overwhelming it. It's meant to do quiet work in a room rather than compete for attention.
Because it's built from many individual pieces rather than one continuous hide, Rosalind rolls up cleanly for storage between uses — tuck it away when the table isn't set, then roll it back out for the next one. It reads as the finishing layer for a table that's already doing the work — set beneath a centrepiece or a run of glassware, or simply left on its own down the centre of a long table for a dinner with people who'll actually look at it.
Aftercare
Keep it looking this good
Leather ages best with a little attention. Keep pieces away from direct heat and prolonged sun, wipe spills promptly with a dry cloth, and condition every few months with a leather-safe balm to stop it drying out. Store stuffed with tissue to hold its shape when not in use.
