Zephyr — Saddle Blanket Hand-Tooled Clutch

Price$121.00 AUD

Colour:Turq Brown

Zephyr's front and back panels are woven entirely by hand from saddle blanket fabric, in the same Southwestern striping and diamond motifs that give the piece its character — no two woven panels ever come out quite the same. A tooled leather flap sits across the top third of the front, hand-carved and finished in tan or brown, depending on the version, to contrast against the woven body, with a zip running beneath it.

Because the front and back panels are woven entirely by hand rather than printed, the exact pattern varies slightly from piece to piece — the Zephyr that arrives is a one-of-one woven piece, not a fixed print reproduced identically across the range.

Dimensions: 28 cm × 20 cm— Fits a phone, cards, keys and a lipstick or compact

The Clutch

Built to do more

Our clutches start as genuine leather, chosen for construction built to outlast a single night out rather than just survive it. It's the kind of piece that moves easily from an evening bag to something you'd reach for on a normal day.

Inside, a single zip pocket and card slots keep the essentials — cards, keys, a phone — separate from everything else the clutch is carrying. A detachable wriststrap handles it as a true clutch for an evening out, while the adjustable shoulder strap converts it into a crossbody the rest of the time. It reads as the clutch for the night that isn't quite formal — worn crossbody through the afternoon, then unclipped down to just the wriststrap once the sun goes down. The woven front panel does the talking; everything else about Zephyr is built to sit quietly around it.

Aftercare

Keep it looking this good

Leather ages best with a little attention. Keep pieces away from direct heat and prolonged sun, wipe spills promptly with a dry cloth, and condition every few months with a leather-safe balm to stop it drying out. Store stuffed with tissue to hold its shape when not in use.

The craft

Leather that's built to age well

Every piece in the Cuerava edit is chosen for genuine leather and construction that holds up — not fast fashion, not disposable. We pick pieces we’d carry ourselves, then let the leather do the rest: it darkens, softens, and gets better with use.
